Rosemary Anderson  Bang (Tucker)
Rosemary Anderson Bang, age 94, of Larimore, ND passed away December 11, 2017 at the Larimore Good Samaritan Center, where she resided since October 2011.
Rosemary was born January 25, 1923 in Grand Forks, ND, the daughter of Fred and Ruby Tucker. They later moved to Kempton and she attended school in Larimore, graduating in 1941.
She married Hugh “Jim” Anderson in 1942. They had three children: Frances, Dennis, and Jim. They resided near McCanna, ND. Rosemary began running the store and restaurant until she became the Postmaster in McCanna in 1968. She was very active in the National Leauge of Postmasters, attending many National Conventions and holding state offices. She was the Postmaster until retiring in 1990. Hugh “Jim” passed away in 1971. She married Jim Bang in 1980. They moved to Larimore after she retired.
Rosemary enjoyed fishing and playing cards with her girlfriends along with dancing. She was very involved in her Homemakers Club as well as her church. The greatest pleasure in her life came from her family and friends.
Rosemary is survived by her sons: Dennis (Salli Lou), Northwood, ND and Jim (Linda), Larimore, ND; grandchildren: Dean Berg, Mary Garijo, Lenaye Braaten, Ted Anderson, Nicole Aarestad, Kari Klettke, Jamie Moen, Patrick Chaffee, and Estefania Garijo; several great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and her special niece, Mary Lou Drain, Edmonds, OK.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Frances, grandson, Darren Berg, brother Bill Tucker, husband, Hugh “Jim” Anderson, and husband, Jim Bang.
Funeral services will be Thursday, December 14, 2017 at 10 am at United Methodist Church in Larimore with visitation an hour before. Burial will be held at Bellevue Cemetery in the spring.
